Edinburgh's shops are best known for traditional Scottish souvenirs and upmarket goods, food products in particular. The main shopping street is Princes Street, where you'll find all the main department stores such as Debenhams, Frasers, BHS, Marks & Spencers. Two independent department stores are Jenners - an Edinburgh institution and also on Princes Street, and Harvey Nichols, at St Andrews Square.
